What is Going on With Obama and Biden?
Recently, former Vice President Joe Biden let everyone know that he plans on running for the presidency in 2020.
As the former Vice President, he would seem like a natural fit to run in 2020 and to receive former President Obama’s endorsement.
However, Obama has been in contact with other Democratic candidates looking for his endorsement.
It seems a little strange that the former President would not endorse his past running mate.
Joe Biden finally announced that he was running after there was a lot of discussion if he would run or not for the Democratic nomination.
Joe Biden is the 20th person to enter the Democratic nomination race. He has been quoted as stating that the 2020 election really is a “battle for the soul of this nation.”
It would be interesting to know which soul he is referring to.
Joe Biden has been extremely radical in his approach to running this country.
Joe Biden has informed the media that he did not want Obama to endorse him right away.
He felt that every person should have a chance to earn the endorsement on their own effort. The former President has been quoted saying about Biden that, “his running mate in 2008 was one of the best decisions he ever made.”
Obama was someone that really relied on his running mates advice and insights as they served together for the eight years.
That kind of relationship really does not mean that Joe Biden is going to get the nomination.
There have been several Democratic candidates that have had supportive comments made from Obama in recent days. It should also be noted that it is normal for a candidate to receive an endorsement after the primary race has been finished.
Obama has been seen meeting with at least half the candidates and meeting with Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg in secret for some reason.
It has been reported that Eric Schultz has stated that Obama was more than, “happy to speak privately with candidates seeking his guidance on the best way to lead the country.”
President Trump has set a new standard of the right way to lead a country, so it only stands to be questioned what advice Obama has been giving to the candidates.
Some candidates that Obama has spoken well of include Beto O’Rourke.
He said that O’Rourke was an, “impressive young man who ran a terrific race.” Of Sanders Obama gave compliments to the senator’s fundraising operations.
There have been several others that the former President has spoken well of.
Time will tell as to which one will win the nomination. Obama has been involved in many of the Democratic political runs throughout the years. It only stands to reason that he will continue to do so in the future.
President Trump has taken notice of the candidates and after Joe Biden announced his running in the primary races he stated, “Welcome to the race Sleepy Joe.”
He went on to say, “I only hope you have the intelligence, long in doubt, to wage a successful primary campaign.
It will be nasty — you will be dealing with people who truly have some very sick & demented ideas. But if you make it, I will see you at the Starting Gate!”
President Trump will be extremely hard to win against in 2020.
His track record is very successful and full of accomplishments that have benefited millions of voters.
The people are gong to want to see the trend of making America great again continue long after 2020. This upcoming Presidential election could be the downfall of the Democratic Party.
If for some strange reason the Democratic Party won the election and the economy started to suffer, it very well could be the end of the Democratic Party in the United States of America.
There would be a significant room or another party to show up on the scene.
One thing is for sure.
Anyone running against President Trump will have a very large uphill battle to face.
