A Trump supporter wearing a MAGA hat attended a concert in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday night and was surrounded by a screaming mob of concertgoers chanting vulgar anti-Trump slogans until he covered his face and fled the venue. The mob didn’t just do it — they filmed it, posted it, and celebrated it. Because nothing says “we’re the tolerant ones” like chasing a single human being out of a public event for supporting the sitting President of the United States.
The party of “love and inclusion,” everybody. Take a bow.
The concert was part of British-American rapper Ashnikko’s “Smoochies Tour,” which is exactly the kind of name you’d expect from someone who tweeted “FUCK DONALD TRUMP!!!” — twice — on November 7, 2020. So the crowd knew what they were signing up for. But the lone Trump supporter apparently thought he could exist in a public space without a political litmus test. Rookie mistake in Biden’s — sorry, Ashnikko’s — America.
The viral video, shared widely on social media by Steve Ferguson among others, shows the crowd turning on the man as if he’d committed some unforgivable crime. His offense? A red hat.
But here’s the part that really tells you everything. A TikTok user with the handle @ahorrorborealis — because of course that’s a real handle — posted about the incident and gloated: “He got so embarrassed, he covered his face and left! Like literally WHO told you you could be HERE?!”
Read that again. “Who told you you could be HERE?!”
That’s not a political disagreement. That’s a territorial claim. That’s someone saying you don’t have the right to occupy the same physical space as them if you vote differently. And they said it out loud. And they were proud of it.
This is the same crowd that spent four years lecturing us about “threats to democracy.” The same people who clutch their pearls over mean tweets. The same folks who put “In This House We Believe” signs on their lawns listing every virtue they don’t actually practice.
A mob of people surrounded one guy. One. They screamed profanities at him. They filmed his humiliation. They chased him out. And then they went online to brag about it like they’d accomplished something heroic.
Ashnikko, for her part, has a long history of this kind of thing. Beyond the Trump tweets, she’s also called world leaders “fascist overlords” — which is rich coming from someone whose fans literally police who’s allowed to attend a concert based on political loyalty. If that’s not fascism-adjacent, I don’t know what is.
As reported by LifeZette, the video went viral almost immediately, and for good reason. It’s a perfect snapshot of where we are. The left doesn’t want debate. They don’t want coexistence. They want submission. And if you won’t submit, they want you gone — from the concert, from the restaurant, from the public square.
They keep telling us they’re fighting fascism. But every time the camera rolls, they’re the ones acting like brownshirts.
One guy in a hat. A whole mob screaming him down. And they think they’re the good guys.
That’s the real threat to democracy — and it doesn’t wear a red hat.
