Canadian Woman Crosses the Border to Slap a Kid Over a Trump Shirt — ICE Was Happy to Meet Her

On July 3, a teenage girl was walking the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk in New Jersey with three friends. She was wearing sweatpants — "Trump" on one leg, "ICE" on the other.

Kaitlyn Tracey decided this was unacceptable.

The 33-year-old Asbury Park resident approached the group with her phone out, already recording herself. She was ready for her moment. She was going to confront some teenagers on a boardwalk and the video was going to paint her as the hero for confronting some nasty Trump supporting kids. She started yelling. Then she slapped the teen girl across the face and body.

The only problem with the video she was making: boardwalk surveillance cameras were also rolling.

Tracey fled the scene. An investigation followed. On July 13, police arrested her on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment, and obstruction. She was booked into Ocean County Jail.

But that's not the end of the story. This is actually where it gets good.

Kaitlyn Tracey is not an American citizen. She's Canadian. She can't even vote in our elections which makes this incident all the most insane.

A foreign national charged with assaulting a child on American soil doesn't exactly fly under the radar in 2026. ICE agents showed up at Ocean County Jail on Monday afternoon and transferred her to Delaney Hall, an immigration detention center in Newark.

Her husband, Matthew Geroni, took to TikTok. "I need an immigration lawyer," he said. "I gotta save her. I love... I need my wife." Of course his video begging for help conveniently left out the fact that his wife walked up to a teenager and slapped her because the child's sweatpants offended her political sensibilities.

Tracey picked the wrong sweatpants to be outraged by. She'll be able to think all about her actions that day from her home in Canada.
