Code Pink 'Peace' Activist Smacks Rep. Anna Paulina Luna — Because Nothing Says Anti-War Like Assaulting a Congresswoman

The head organizer of Code Pink — the far-left activist group that wraps itself in the label of "peace" like a wolf in a yoga mat — physically struck Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on Capitol Hill on Tuesday after Luna had the audacity to question Secretary of State Marco Rubio about Code Pink's ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Because apparently, asking inconvenient questions about your CCP connections is grounds for a smackdown.

Peacefully, of course.

According to Rep. Luna herself, the incident went down as she was leaving her hearing with Rubio. "The head honcho of Code Pink here on Capitol Hill decided to try to harass me as I was leaving my hearing with Rubio and smacked my arm," Luna posted on X. Not exactly the Gandhian nonviolence these people claim to represent.

Luna didn't mince words about what led to the confrontation. "After I questioned Secretary Rubio on Code Pink and their ties to the CCP, their organization followed me out, berated me, and then their head person here in DC smacked me," she said. "I will be filing charges."

Let that sink in. A sitting congresswoman gets physically assaulted by a leftist activist — in the halls of Congress — and the reason is that she dared ask about a radical group's relationship with Communist China. That's the state of the American left in 2026.

Luna also made clear she's not interested in being silenced. "I have no issues answering questions, but the moment you touch me, you cross a line," she stated. Fair enough. Most of us learned the "keep your hands to yourself" rule in kindergarten, but evidently Code Pink skipped that day.

She's also taking it up the chain. "I have asked the Speaker to ban Code Pink," Luna said. "I was just physically hit by their head organizer." Good. Ban them yesterday.

This is the same Code Pink that parades around Washington with their little pink signs screaming about peace, diplomacy, and coexistence. The same group that disrupts congressional hearings with theatrical stunts and then plays victim when security escorts them out. The same crew whose ties to the CCP have raised eyebrows for years — ties that Luna was questioning Rubio about when this whole thing kicked off.

And what do they do when someone asks about those ties? They follow her into the hallway and hit her.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the assault happened on June 3, 2026, and Luna is pressing charges. We'll see how far that goes — Washington has a funny way of letting leftist activists skate while throwing the book at anyone wearing a red hat.

But here's the bigger picture for those of us watching from the cheap seats. These are the people who lecture us about "violence in politics." These are the people who clutch their pearls every time a conservative raises their voice at a school board meeting. These are the people who called January 6th an "insurrection" while their own foot soldiers are literally smacking elected officials in the halls of Congress.

The mask isn't slipping anymore. It's on the floor, and Code Pink is stomping on it.

Luna's filing charges. The Speaker should ban Code Pink from the Capitol. And the rest of us should remember this the next time some pink-hatted protester lectures us about "peaceful resistance."
