So here’s something you don’t see every day. The hosts of Morning Joe — the same show that spent eight straight years telling us Trump was a reckless madman who’d start World War III — just went on live television and admitted that Trump’s Iran strategy is working. Joe Scarborough actually said the words “that seems to be working fairly well” about a Trump military operation. On MSNBC.

Somebody check on the MSNBC break room. There might be people in there hyperventilating into paper bags right now.

Here’s what happened. Trump ordered a full naval blockade of Iranian ports along the Strait of Hormuz. The “experts” — and we use that term very loosely — predicted oil would spike to $125 or $150 a barrel. They said the stock market would tank. They said Iran would retaliate and drag us into a catastrophic war. You know, the usual predictions from people who’ve been wrong about literally everything since 2015.

Instead? Oil stayed below $100 a barrel. The stock market hit record highs. And Iran is sitting at the negotiating table with empty pockets and a military that’s about to stop getting paychecks.

Scarborough described the blockade as “a low-risk, high-reward alternative” and said the White House now has “time on our side instead of time being on the Iranian side.” That’s not Fox News talking. That’s Morning Joe. The show that once compared Trump to Mussolini.

But it gets even better. David Ignatius — Washington Post columnist, establishment darling, the kind of guy who uses the phrase “geopolitical calculus” unironically — confirmed there’s a “sense of optimism” coming from the White House team. He pointed out that the stock market hitting records “devalues Iran’s biggest weapon.” Iran’s whole play was to tank the global economy and force America to back down. Whoops.

Then they brought on Hagar Chemali, a former Obama national security advisor. An Obama person! And she said Iran “doesn’t have an economic leg to stand on” and predicted the regime won’t be able to “pay their soldiers” within months. Her exact words: “A military can only be so loyal when it’s not getting paid.”

We’re going to need a moment to absorb this. Three people on MSNBC — including an Obama administration official — just told their audience that Trump has Iran cornered, the economy is booming despite the blockade, and the Iranian regime might collapse because it can’t afford to keep the lights on. On the network that spent four years telling us Trump’s foreign policy was going to get us all killed.

Remember when these same people said pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal was “catastrophic”? Remember when they said maximum pressure would never work? Remember when every retired general CNN could find went on air to explain how Trump didn’t understand diplomacy?

Funny how none of them are booking those segments anymore.

Scarborough even had this gem — he said Trump is “running a war, and right now, that seems to be working fairly well.” That “fairly well” is doing a LOT of heavy lifting. Translation from Morning Joe-speak to English: Trump is absolutely crushing it and we can’t pretend otherwise anymore because our own sources are telling us so.

This is what happens when you elect a president who actually means what he says. Trump told Iran there would be consequences. Iran didn’t believe him. Now the U.S. Navy is parked on their doorstep, their economy is in freefall, and even Morning Joe is waving the white flag.

We’ve been saying this for years — the media will be the last to admit Trump is right about anything. But when even THEY can’t spin it anymore, you know the strategy isn’t just working. It’s working so well that lying about it would make them look even dumber than they already do.

So to all the “foreign policy experts” who spent the last decade telling us Trump would stumble into a nuclear war — how’s that prediction working out for you? Because from where we’re sitting, the only thing getting nuked is your credibility.
